Spawn is heading back to the shelves at WalMart, beginning with Spawn Series 24: The Classic Comic Covers. To celebrate Spawn figures once again becoming available at the world's largest retailer, they've created two special limited-edition Spawn boxed two-packs that will be exclusive to WalMart stores in early 2004.

The first is the Manga Spawn Robots box, featuring repainted versions of Manga Spawn from Spawn Series 9 and Manga Samurai Spawn from Spawn Series 10. Each of these figures comes with a second head and a backpack that transforms into a cyber-insect figure.

Manga Spawn Robots will be available February at our store.

The second WalMart exclusive boxed set is the Samurai Wars two-pack. This set features a repainted version of Samurai Spawn from Spawn Series 19 and the never-before-released (and much-anticipated) Takeda the Archer action figure.

This set contains the repainted Samurai Spawn and the Takeda the Archer figure which has never been released. The helmet and face gear on Samurai Spawn has also changed and an attachable flag has also been added.

The second WalMart-exclusive Spawn two-pack (following the Manga Robot set) is getting closer and closer to reality. The Samurai Warriors set features a refreshed version of Samurai Spawn from Spawn Series 19 and the never-before-released Takeda the Archer figure.

Samurai Spawn features a new paintjob that is brighter than the original, utilizing more primary colors. Includes battle sword and back-mounted battle standard. This figure also features a resculpted head and helmet with mask.

Takeda the Archer is the human version of Samurai Spawn and has never before been released. Includes full Samurai battle armor and bow. For more information on the Samurai Spawn mythos, go here.

This deluxe two-pack box will be available at WalMart beginning in April. (End April at Ultimate Toys!)
